PTA is focused on making every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. At Miller, we work to enrich the lives of our students and staff- helping out with important needs and making school a great place to be! Whether you’ve got 5 minutes or 5 hours to volunteer, everyone is welcome and we hope you’ll join in!

Popsicles & Principals
A late-summer chance to catch up with friends and meet your Miller principals on the pavilion behind the school.
Open House
PTA assists the school at Open House by giving parents and guardians all the info they need to know to be set up for success with a new school year. This is a great chance to check out all the fun things we have planned and sign up to get involved!
Miller Night @ Joyland
Miller night at Joyland is always a blast! This fundraiser helps the PTA get a great start to funding projects at the beginning of the year.
Hootenanny
You’ll have a HOOT at Hootenanny! It’s an all-out carnival hosted at the school with treats, bouncy houses, and carnival games- one of many Miller highlights of the year!
PTA Membership Meetings
This is your opportunity to make your voice heard as a member. We hold short meetings before special performances from each grade level throughout the year.
Sock Hop
A Miller tradition, Sock Hop is a chance to head back to the 50’s for a day. Put on your poodle skirts and leather jackets and come hand jive in the gym!
Jingle Bell Jog
Miller students and family can participate in the yearly Jingle Bell Jog every winter. After a run around the track, everyone enjoys hot chocolate!
Book Fair
The yearly book fair is a great chance to stock up on books for your student!
Hospitality
Our hospitality volunteers make sure our teachers and staff know how appreciated they are by hosting lunches throughout the year and lots of treats during teacher appreciation week!
Owlapalooza
Miller PTA assists the school in their yearly celebration of the arts. At Owlapalooza, families can view musical performances and visual arts by our talented students.
Owl’s Nest
Miller PTA collects gently used items through our Owl’s Nest for students who may need them.
5th Grade Banquet
To celebrate their final year at Miller, PTA hosts a 5th grade banquet for students and families. It is a special event that celebrates all their accomplishments at Miller Elementary.
Grants & Gifts
Miller PTA has been the recipient of several grants thanks to our volunteer grant writers. These grants have allowed the PTA to gift the school needed tools and resources.
Movie Night
Miller PTA hosts a fun outdoor movie night at the school in the spring.
Box Tops
Collecting Box Tops is a great, easy way to support our school! Just download the app and scan your receipts! It’s that easy!
Connect
Miller PTA offers special parenting classes and enrichment throughout the year.
Reflections
We are SO PROUD to have been one of two PTA programs in the nation to have received the Mary Lou Anderson Reflections Arts Enhancement Grant. This grant helped provide us with the funds to ensure that every student had artwork visible on our arts night, Owlapalooza.
Crosswalk
We’re so thankful for the volunteers that monitor our crosswalks in the mornings and afternoons.
